Target Tap
Targets appear one at a time, anywhere on the field. Tap or click each the moment it lands; a miss costs points. Hard makes them small.
Target Tap is reaction time with aim: a target appears somewhere on the field, and you tap or click it as quickly as you can. Hard makes the targets small.
How to play Target Tap
- Watch the field. A target appears after a short wait, anywhere on it.
- Tap or click it as quickly as you can.
- A miss costs points, and the same target waits.
Scoring
- Each hit is worth what is left of its par time, so faster is more.
- A miss costs 100 points, and so does a tap under 100 milliseconds — quicker than anybody can see a target.
- Easy is twelve targets, normal twenty and hard thirty.
Tips
- Keep your pointer near the middle of the field between targets, where every target is closest.
- On a phone, keep your thumb just above the screen rather than resting it on the glass.
- A miss costs 100 points, so aim before you tap.
Play it with friends
- On your own, against the characters — each plays the game by its own rules the moment it starts, so there is always somebody to beat.
- With friends, each on their own phone or laptop: one of you shows a code, the others type it in, and everybody gets exactly the same game on the same Go.
- Taking turns on one device — pass it round, and each turn is scored against the turns before.
