By using finclamp.com you agree to these terms. They are short, and they are written to be read rather than to be skipped.
1. What the service is
FinClamp provides free financial calculators and written guides for informational and educational purposes. No account is required to use any calculator. An optional account exists solely to save calculations across devices.
2. No financial advice
Nothing on this site constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing on it takes your circumstances into account. Always consult a qualified professional before acting on any figure or opinion you find here. This is set out in full in the financial disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
3. Accuracy
The calculators implement standard published formulas and are tested, but we make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for purpose of any output or any content. Rates and statutory limits change; a page is accurate as of the date it displays. Verify anything material against the provider's own documentation before committing money.
4. Your account
You are responsible for the Google account you sign in with and for anything done through your FinClamp session. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else. We may suspend or remove an account that is used to abuse the service, and you may delete yours at any time — see the privacy policy.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site beyond what a normal reader does, or in a way that degrades it for others;
- attempt to interfere with, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
- generate artificial traffic, impressions, or clicks on advertisements shown here, by any means;
- frame, mirror, or present the site as your own, or remove its attribution;
- use it in breach of any applicable law.
6. Content and licensing
The guides, calculator implementations, design, and text on this site belong to FinClamp.
You may quote from a guide with attribution and a link, cite the site as a source,
link to any page, and share a calculation link. Search engines and AI answer engines are explicitly
welcome to index and cite the content — see /robots.txt and /llms.txt.
You may not republish a guide in full, present the content as your own work, or create a derivative site from it.
PDFs exported from a calculator contain your own figures and are yours to use however you wish.
7. Advertising
The site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are selected by Google, not by FinClamp; their presence is not an endorsement of the advertiser, and we receive no commission on anything they sell. Any dealing with an advertiser is between you and them. Use of this site constitutes consent to the advertising cookies described in the privacy policy, which explains how to opt out of personalisation.
8. Availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it — including calculators, guides, or the account feature — at any time. Installed copies continue to work offline with whatever version they last downloaded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinClamp shall not be liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary, including lost profits, lost savings, or financial losses arising from decisions made — resulting from your use of, or inability to use, this website or anything on it.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify FinClamp against any claim arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.
11. Changes
These terms may be modified at any time; the date at the top will change when they are. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
