Rhythm Keys
Letters slide in time with the music. Press each one as it crosses the line: every hit plays the next note of the melody, and a run of perfect hits multiplies your score.
Rhythm Keys is a rhythm game played on a keyboard. Letters slide towards a line in time with the music, and every key you hit on the beat plays the next note of the melody — so typing well sounds right.
How to play Rhythm Keys
- Wait for the count-in, then watch the letters slide towards the line.
- Press each letter as it crosses the line.
- A hit right on the beat is Perfect; a little early or late is Good; outside that it is a miss.
Scoring
- A Perfect hit is 300 points and a Good one 100.
- A run of hits builds a combo that multiplies every hit’s points; a miss resets it.
- Your accuracy and your best combo are shown at the end.
Tips
- Listen to the melody — your ear keeps time better than your eyes.
- Keep your fingers on the home row between letters, ready for the next one.
Play it with friends
- On your own, against the characters — each plays the game by its own rules the moment it starts, so there is always somebody to beat.
- With friends, each on their own phone or laptop: one of you shows a code, the others type it in, and everybody gets exactly the same game on the same Go.
- Taking turns on one device — pass it round, and each turn is scored against the turns before.
