Constellations
Tap the night sky to place a star; each one joins the last. Make a constellation of your own.
Constellations is a dark sky for drawing your own star pictures. Each tap places a twinkling star and joins it to the last one with a faint line, so a few taps make a shape. Tap a star that is already there to join back to it and close the shape, or start a new constellation somewhere else in the sky. Now and then, a shooting star goes by.
How to play Constellations
- Tap or click the sky to place a star; it joins the star before it.
- Tap a star that is already there to join to it. That is how a shape is closed.
- New constellation starts the next one without a line; Undo takes back the last tap; Clear empties the sky.
- With a keyboard: the arrow keys move the marker, Space places a star, N starts a new constellation, U undoes and C clears.
Tips
- Try the real ones: the Plough is seven stars, four in a box and three in a handle.
- Draw something of your own (a cat, a kite, your initials) and give it a name.
