Grow a Forest
Tap the hillside to plant a tree. Watch each one grow, and the whole wood sway in the breeze.
Grow a Forest is a hillside under a moonlit sky, waiting for trees. Tap the ground and a seedling appears and grows to its full height; plant higher up the hill and the tree stands further away, so it is smaller. Mix five kinds of tree, and turn the wind up to watch the whole wood lean and sway in a slow wave.
How to play Grow a Forest
- Tap or click the hillside to plant a tree. Higher up is further away.
- The Tree button changes what you plant: pine, oak, birch, blossom or maple.
- The wind button goes from still to a breeze to windy.
- With a keyboard: the arrow keys move the marker, Space plants, T changes the tree, W the wind and C clears the hill.
Tips
- Plant the far trees first and the near ones last, and the wood fills in from the back like a real one.
- A row of blossom along the front with pines behind makes a lovely spring hillside.
