Top Corner
Ten penalties. One tap fixes where across the goal, a second how high, and the keeper dives a moment late. A goal is 1; high and beside a post is a top corner, worth 3 — and a hair from the woodwork.
Top Corner is a penalty shootout on two taps. The keeper walks the line until you shoot, then reads it and dives — a moment late, and only so far in the time the ball takes.
How to play Top Corner
- A marker sweeps across the goal: tap to fix where across.
- It sweeps up and down: tap again to fix how high, and the ball goes.
- Ten penalties. Every goal makes the keeper a little quicker and the marker a little faster.
Scoring
- A goal inside the posts and under the bar is 1 point, with a point more for the top band and a point more beside a post: a top corner is 3.
- Wide, over the bar, off the post or saved scores nothing.
Tips
- Low and near the keeper is a save waiting to happen — high and wide is beyond any keeper, but a hair from the woodwork.
Play it with friends
- On your own, against the characters — each plays the game by its own rules the moment it starts, so there is always somebody to beat.
- With friends, each on their own phone or laptop: one of you shows a code, the others type it in, and everybody gets exactly the same game on the same Go.
- Taking turns on one device — pass it round, and each turn is scored against the turns before.
