Six Hitter
Three overs, three wickets. Tap as the ball reaches the bat: right on time is a six, then four, two and an edge. Miss one at the stumps and you are out — but a short ball can be left alone.
Six Hitter is batting in cricket on one button. The bowler runs in and bowls, and the moment you tap is the shot: perfect timing hits a six, and a miss on the stumps is out.
How to play Six Hitter
- Watch the bowler run in and the ball come down the pitch.
- Tap as the ball reaches you.
- A short ball climbs over the stumps — you can leave it alone for a dot ball.
- The bowler mixes full, good and short lengths, sends down a slower ball now and then, and gets quicker every over.
Scoring
- Right on time is a six, then a four, a two and an edged single towards the ends of the window.
- Miss a ball heading for the stumps and you are bowled.
- An innings is three overs and three wickets, and the runs are the score.
Tips
- Watch the length as it is bowled — a short ball is the one to leave.
- Easy gives you a moment more on every ball, hard a moment less.
Play it with friends
- On your own, against the characters — each plays the game by its own rules the moment it starts, so there is always somebody to beat.
- With friends, each on their own phone or laptop: one of you shows a code, the others type it in, and everybody gets exactly the same game on the same Go.
- Taking turns on one device — pass it round, and each turn is scored against the turns before.
