Darts
Nine darts, three visits of three, at a real board. A line sweeps across: tap to fix it. Another sweeps up and down: tap again and the dart flies. Trebles count three times, doubles twice, the bull is 50, and a treble 20 is the most one dart can make.
Darts is a proper board on two taps. The twenty beds run in the usual order with 20 at the top, the thin outer ring doubles a bed, the thin inner ring trebles it, and the bull is 50. A treble 20 is worth 60, the most a single dart can make.
How to play Darts
- A line sweeps across the board: tap to fix where across.
- A second line sweeps up and down: tap again, and the dart flies to where the two lines meet.
- Each dart wobbles a little in the hand, more on the harder levels. The wobble is the same for everybody in a challenge.
- Nine darts, three visits of three. Each visit the lines sweep a little faster.
Scoring
- A single bed scores its number; the treble ring three times it, the double ring twice. The outer bull is 25 and the bull 50.
- Off the board scores nothing. The score is the total of all nine darts.
Tips
- The treble 20 sits straight above the bull: fix the across line on the centre, then wait for the high line to come down to the thin ring.
- If the treble 20 keeps slipping off into the 5 or the 1, aim for the treble 19 at the bottom instead: its neighbours, 7 and 3, cost less.
Play it with friends
- On your own, against the characters. Each plays the game by its own rules the moment it starts, so there is always somebody to beat.
- With friends, each on their own phone or laptop: one of you shows a code, the others type it in, and everybody gets exactly the same game on the same Go.
- Taking turns on one device: pass it round, and each turn is scored against the turns before.
