Typing speed test

The speed test is one minute of common words. The clock starts on your first key; when the minute is up you get your speed in words per minute (WPM), your accuracy, and the keys you missed most — and a speed certificate, replaced only by a faster one.

Speed is counted the standard way: every five characters typed correctly is one word, so long words are not penalised and short ones are not rewarded. A wrong key does not move the cursor on — it is counted as a miss against the key that was asked for, and you type the right one to continue.
